MANUFACTURING
Our team approaches all manufacturing projects with excellence. That means that all jobs – both complex and simple – are engineered with cost, speed, flexibility and practicality in mind. A heavy emphasis is placed on quality control at all stages of the manufacturing process to ensure you get your product to market on-time and on-budget.
PLS fills a variety of containers including squeeze tubes, lip balm sticks and jars, tins, and bottles. PLS also has high-speed labeling and batch coding equipment for worry-free FDA compliance. Anhydrous products such as wax-based balms, salves, tints and glosses, massage oils and aromatherapy products can be batched from scratch or you can provide us with bulk materials, which we can fill.
PLS is an audited and inspected FDA facility and manufactures to the FDA’s highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). In addition, back in 2005, PLS became the first personal care factory in the US to be Certified Organic to the National Organic Program (NOP) standard. We are also certified by QAI to the ANSI/NSF 305 standard for Organic Cosmetics.
We are members of the Organic Trade Association as well as the Private Label Manufacturers Association. PLS is listed by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Leaping Bunny as a cruelty-free manufacturer, and we require all vendors to adhere to PETA’s cruelty-free standards.
